Standard stain and pigmented base-coat finishes have 20–25 sheen semi-gloss top coats. Select from satin or semi-gloss finishes on custom color match stains and pigmented base-coats.

  • Satin finish delivers the soft matte look and feel of fine furniture.
  • Semi-gloss is higher sheen finish with a distinct appearance of its own.

Antique enhancements can be added to both stains and pigmented base coats.

  • Glaze adds richness and character by applying a contrasting color to the details of the piece.
  • Rub-Through delivers an aged, worn appearance
  • Distressing is a combinaton of glaze, edge-wear and dents and dings providing an old-world antique look.

Joinery Details

Door and Drawer Fronts are constructed with solid white oak, northern hard-rock maple or northern cherry with veneer core center panels. European mortise and round-end tenon construciton (Fig. 1). Cope and stick and dowel construction (Fig. 2) is used for Majestic door styles.

Ideal door styles are constructed of traditional cope and stick joinery (Fig. 3), European mortise and round-end tenon (Fig. 1) or spine miter construction.
